trying to track Darren Whiles

Anyone know Darrren Whiles - he responded to a wanted thread for a laptop, I paid via paypal - but alas - no laptop!!

Paypal found in my favour but cant recover the monies from his account at this time. Anyone know if he has had an issue that stops him completing the deal? I'd rather not take this the official Police route (as I work with them and feel a bit of a plonker if I have fallen for a scammer)

Anyone know him? He lives in Chomlea Manor, Salford (or so he told me)????

Have done, but they cant track him from the email I gave - so no choice but to see if anyone else knows.

If this is not allowed then Mods please delete

police it, least its on paypal and not direct bank! Means you'v got something to show them etc

yep, looks like I'll have too, first time being scammed and makes me realy £$%$£ off, have used MM loads and trusted it - this has shook my faith a little as I was doing a favour for a mate and am now out of pocket!

Yes, I just put it in the AA route planner and it came up as being about 3 miles from me.

Tried it on my tomtom and couldnt place it - will probably contact your local police station - seems the way ahead.
