I've got a handful of video clips that i'm trying to burn to a DVD (poxy lappy drive is full!), but it runs over by about 100mb, each clip has a couple of seconds of blue screen at the start and end (my skills with the play/record buttons capturing vhs to my pc suck!)

I've looked at a couple of progs i found via google, but they only offer a 60 second trial and i'd rather not cough out for a program without knowing it works :p

Looked at the Window Movie Maker, it's fine for selecting the bits i want, but it wants to hash up the resolution and bitrate of the video before it saves, which sort of defeats the object!

HELP! (please!)

Brilliant cheers, think i need to practice with that one, i just turned the first 3 minutes of video into a 1.2gig file and ran out of space, oops!

Cheers, i didn't change the output over to unmodified, it was trying to recode it to a different codec which was a 'touch' bigger than the xvid i'm using. :)
