I thought I'd start a new thread for this to save taking over a previous one.

Basically I feel that the temps on my QX6700 are too high at idle. Machine spec is in my sig including heat sink. Everything is running stock speeds at the moment and I'm seeing temps of up to 49 degrees at idle.

I have tried both a Zalman 9500 and the Noctua CPU sinks, with both of them orientated horizontally and vertically, and get the same results each time.

I've tried both Arctic Silver 5 and Arctic Cooling MX-2 again with the same results.

I'll try uploading some screens and photos when I'm back t home later.
