Trying to Windows 10 on my ssd 960 evo

having trouble I tryed hooting from my bios but my pc just seems to skip the option for bios and loads straight up any tips #scrub

if you are using Windows 10 currently, boot into windows, select settings - update and security - advanced startup - restart now, and select boot to bios.

any other version of windows, you'll have to clear your cmos with the jumper on the board, I guess you have fastboot set to fast.

I had this problem on my wife’s asrock motherboard.
If I left it then it would only turn the monitor on when it was on the windows loading page.
If I pressed f1/f2/delete on boot it would load up into a black screen and never display anything, if I pressed control alt delete it would reboot so I know the keyboard was being recognised.

Even resetting cmos didn’t work, tried every single solution I found online even using an asrock tool called “reboot to uefi” but no cigar.
I dunno what sorted it exactly but what I did was changed from hdmi to dvi and at the same time plugged in a ps2 port keyboard.
Went straight into bios.

Don’t really understand the question, are you trying to install it on a new SSD? Best approach is back up all the files and wipe off the old.

You can also download and create a bootable usb to install online (Microsoft site). What motherboard do you have? You could always disconnect the windows drive and render it impossible not to hit BIOS...

You need to supply more information if you want a solution that applies specifically to you.

What motherboard do you have?
Is it an NVMe drive or SSD M.2 drive?
Did you create a bootable USB stick, if so how?
