TT alternatives?

I've got a tuniq tower, and while I have no complaints about the cooling, it's a big big and clumsy and hard to cope with.

It was the one that was on offer BTW, if that's any different from the one currently going for 40 odd quid.

I'm just wondering what the alternatives are?

Something maybe a little more managable in terms of bulk, with equal or better cooling, and simmillar-ish noise levels.

with air coolers nothing really beats the TT while being smaller. to do that you may have to look at water cooling.

I can handle it being big in any two dimensions I think.

Eg, forgot to attach the CPU power cable until board was in case last time. Took me 15 minutes and some fairly serious scratches to get it in.

However, I've been reading around all evening, and it seems that the wider net pretty much agrees with yous. It's hard to beat it.

I suppose I should keep it and pay more attention at build time really.

I will fit using AS5 instead of Tuniq compound (looked more like rubber cement when I took the HS off), and maybe see about a stupid expensive fan for it, though I believe the stock one is no slouch.

LOL, great minds thinking alike. I just found my own thread searching for Yate....they seem to out perform the stock Tuniq fan in airflow and noise, a win-win.

How will I EVER live without my blue LED though ;)
