Hey, so i bought a Tt Bigwater 735 to try and got it all connected up, turned on to leak test and nothing, except for the blue light on top of the pump shining. So am i doing anything wrong? I mean the pump is a sealed unit, so nothing there, but just wondered whether there was an obvious fault on my part or have i just got a dud pump?

Either way... really dissapointed  I thought pumps were fairly hardy units that dont often fail, my first and i think its dead, unless i can hack into the plastic exterior to get it going!?! Dunno, i'm hoping someone will have a fix

Oh just hooked up the yellow sensor wire and my Gatewatch is still giving '---' for the pump speed :( Guess it is gone then

Well on opening it up and having a fiddle with the propellor with magnet attached i put it back together and it started up... However a lot of rattling and noise, so i thought it may be because there is no water, so hooked it back up but still the same and the coolant moved about a centimetre then back again on initial power up. lol typical. Wouldn't trust it now anyhow

If you want to sell your pump (if its the newer 400l/h version) then i would definately be interested in purchasing it from you mate. Else its a hunt for a replacement lol, RMA will take too long.

To be fair, thermaltake water cooling hardly has the greatest reputation.

You might as well look for a different pump rather than just limiting yourself to the one.

True, however i wanted to give it a go and take it from there.

Heard some good things (for the price at least) and ideal for a WC noob like myself.

Got the pump working i think, its pushing all the bubbles out, although there are many little ones hanging about in places, is that normal? The pumps RPM is at a steady 2100 that ok? And noise went as soon as the water hit. So im thinking its ok, just needed a little jump start to begin with for whatever reason, although even if it is working correctly I will still be getting a new pump regardless next month

can't find it, sorry.
the res it joined with broke so i ended up buying a new pump.

as for Tt not having the greatest it's keeping my ladies dual core 939 and x800 at 28 degrees each.

if you decide to change get the Laing DDC- 1, it's a natural 3/8ths pump, quiet, very small and pumps well

edit:
that rpm and the little bubbles is fine, try tapping the tubes, moving them around it'll get rid of them eventually

Thanks for looking though mate! :)

And cheers for you advice on that pump too... looks like we have a winner! Wont sleep well at night when I know I had issues getting it started in the first instance, so replacement is essential imo.

Thanks again for your help
