Just wondering about the pros and cons of such a setup. Ive been browsing the watercooled case gallery for a little while now and havent really seen many people using them, and the only ones i have seen are the EK solutions. Is this purely down to personal taste, or space constraints? Or is there some reason that im unaware of as im relatively new to watercooling. I really like the look of the Koolance rp 450, but havent really found much on the internet in the way of reviews and such. Has anyone had any past experience with them?

Ta :)

Some will be positional constraints. People tend to go with the simplest/shortest tube runs or for display/show which leaves the greater configurability of separate res as a help. Also mounting will cause greater noise/vibration which can be surprisingly intrusive and the only real way to deal with is is to decouple as much as possible the pump from the case and the above setup might limit in that regard. I had a tube res sat on a ddc for a long while to limit the number of bits and pretty much case floor at the front was the only option positionally- and to line with foam and leave it reasonably secure. Long tube run to the top rad wasn't the prettiest.
