I searched but found nothing, I'm sure someone will be able to point me to a dozen threads answering this questions but I figured it best to and ask directly.

So basically, I currently have an XSPC Bay Res/Pump combo, and I'm wanted to upgrade to a Tube res. and reuse the pump from the original Bay Res.

Problem is, I can only find an XSPC 170mm Res that has the compatable base to connect to the pump. Link below

I think 170mm is too big, so I was looking at an EK 140 or 150, like the one below
https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ek-water-blocks-ek-res-x3-150-reservoir-wc-313-ek.html

However, I want to mount the pump directly to the res and mount it to my case. but I can't seem to purchase the correct pump base anywhere.

Thanks in advance

Can you link to your current XSPC pump/res.

If it's the D5 variant then you have no problems, if it's the one with the internal pump then you won't be able to re-use on a tube res

Yeah its a D5, but I dont see how to connect it to a res, as the one I linked in my first post doesn't look compatable as the base doesn't look like this

Is there an EK res that is compatible? i mean they do sell tube res and pump combos, I just can't seem to find one with the correct base
