Tube Res

Can anyone tell me weather its a good idea to use a tube res as a fill point? i want a ek dual bay res but was thinking for filling and draining ease putting a tube res in my loop which i'm planning

Easiest loops I see being drained when using those bay res's are loops that use GPU full blocks.
You just unscrew the "stopper" on the other side and it all drains out.
Back on my 6870 Parallel GPU loop, I just put 2 pint glasses under card two, and removed the stoppers and let them flow in the glasses.

draining is a bit more difficult, but not that much of a challenge!

i was thinking if i couldnt put a tube res in as well to somewhere in the loop at the lowest point putting a T-fitting in with a small length of tube with a stopper on as a draining tube

You can put a T line in anywhere near the bottom, you don't need a tube res for it
