Hi guys,

I'm almost ready to order my new watercooling stuff. The last thing I need to decide on is the tubing / coolant.

I really want a deep red kind of look and I originally thought of clear tubing + mayhems X1 UV red (used without any UV lights).

Some people said I should use coloured tubing but I would prefer coloured coolant as it would show in the res also.

So my question is, can anyone confirm for me a brand of clear tubing that definatley does not get cloudy after a few weeks / months of use?

Pretty sure it's down to the liquid that's causing the clouding rather than the tube itself!

You'd be much better off having coloured tubing than liquid, save the dye from disintegrating too!

I thought it was the tubing that gets cloudy because of plasticiser and stuff?

Does anyone know if Mayhems X1 coolant gets cloudy over time?

I've had my current Masterkleer clear tubing and Mayhems X1 UV blue in for about a month now still as clear as they day i plumbed up the loop.
cant say i've noticed any clouding with previous builds, but then i've never used clear fluid in clear tubes, its always been coloured fluid or tubing, would be a bit harder to notice, plus i'm always fettling so loop ir drained/tubing replaced pretty often.
