Going back a few years, the music my parents played on our holiday trip to Wales while in the car.

We have the tapes, but the amount of times we have played them the quality is poor to say the least. So when I saw a live recording I jumped at the chance and got it.

Though my speakers, I just, I'm lost for words. It's so, magical, so dreamy, I've just lay on my bed, with memories flooding through my head for an hour or so now.

It makes a change from the usual deathmetal/techno etc I'm into, and to think I completly forgot about those times traveling, all those memories, and ofcourse (even though I couldnt comprehend at such a young age) the quite frankly, brilliant music I am listening to.

If you have never heared this, go and pick up a copy. It is purely amazing.

//sorry, got a bit too much there *wipes tear away*

Can you listen to it without coming out with loads of dirty words from a certain film though?
I remember when it first came out and everybody and his dog bought it.
It was totally different and Richard Branson took a huge risk on Mike Oldfield and the rest is history.

Thanks to my dad, I was introduced to Mike Oldfield's music at quite an early age. Not only do I love his music, but it has so many connections to memories from my younger days.

Mike Oldfield - The Platinum Collection is winging its way to me now actually

I love the way music can take you back to different times and rekindle old thoughts and feelings.

I hope to god, I never lose that feeling when I get older. There are some songs I have that reminded me of emotional moments from the past few years.

This came on the other day when I was in a bar somewhere, but I didn't even recognise it. It is a good piece of music though :).

I meant tubular bells as in one two and three, all of them combined really, Have been listening to this all night and Can't get enough (:
