Tuesday nights out in Cardiff?

Alrite people.

Going to Cardiff for a night oout for my bday on tuesday, from swansea where I'm at University.

Were going to get the train up at about 7 then the first train back in the morning.

Questions-

Good place to go, and what are they like?

What time are places open untill?

What the casino's like, and where are they,what time are they open too (serveing). Though that would be a good place to go to to stop us from frezing to death untill the train at 7.

Any other advise would be great.
 
Tuesday is quiet in Cardiff, Monday and Saturdays are when it's busy.

Liquid, Jumpin Jacks, Creation, and loads down St. Mary street is where the clubs are. Not sure what the Casinos are like thou.

P.s. Ask for Chippy Lane for food (it's next to 3/4 Brewary), which is round the corner from Cardiff Central, it opens til like 4/5. Even MacD's open til about 3.
 
Casinos- les croupiers on st mary's street (bit of a hole) and grovesnor down the bay are the main ones. Remember you can't go straight in though- need to wait 48 hours iirc to go once joined up (or is it 24? :/). Also les croupiers is a bit of a hole.

To be honest i'd rather go on a thurs/fri/sat night in town. Tuesdays really are on the quiet side.

good, it was expensive and crap.

there's nowhere to go on a tuesday, maybe jumpin jacks for some cheezy crap, is it naked tuesday or something? god knows... but it'll b the only place that's full.

not anymore, that rule was dropped last year, you can now prove who you are and sign up and then walk on in :D
 
Never been to Cardiff fora night out on the ale, been daytime shopping and the odd Bristol City match :D , is the nightime entertainment as cheap as the daytime shopping ?

yep naked tuesday. kind of a student night. they play silly games and if any one gets totally butt naked they get free drinks all night etc. gotta be totally naked though! Jumpin jacks is kinda small and very cheesy studenty!

Liquid is good sometimes, just a typical dancy club.

Personally I like walkabouts best... its quite large and has quite a few bars. the music is usually good and you get qiute a mix of people in there. not sure about tuesdays can't recal going on a tuesday.

Chip ally is where you'll find all the take aways at the end of the night...but watch out for crazy girls out to pick a fight and beefy guys pretty much out for the same along with their kebabs.

The monday night glamorgan bus now goes to jumpin jacks instead. I think all creation needed was a make over.
 
Nowhere in Swansea you like going?

Been out a few times in Cardiff and Swansea, never seemed to like Cardiff much, had a few good nights out in Swansea though in Yates and Time :)
