Hi I just bought this motherboard to go with a Ryzen 5600 and although the system whirls to life the RAM light lights up and it sends no video signal. I thought I could download the latest non beta bios (1401) and try the flashback feature as I guess the mobo doesn’t recognise the CPU, but no matter what I do that flashback light never lights up like it is meant to (it is actually hard to see, hidden behind the heatsink). I’ve tried different USBs - all formatted at FAT32 and I’ve been slowly removing components, starting with the GPU, RAM and finally CPU (the whole thing did nothing in the latter case). Anyone got an idea?

Ok, update. I ended up stripping everything off the motherboard with the exception of the two power cables, tried again and no luck. Left the computer spinning for 40 minutes as I searched the net and reread the manual again cover to cover - decided to give it one last go for good luck and reset the power, removed the CMOS battery and shorted the CMOS jumpers. On rebooting suddenly lights started flickering as it finally started doing the bios update. So it’s all fixed now and working as it should - it just didn’t do it straight away like it should have.
