Hi monitor experts

For my second PC (7700k and 1080ti) to my eye this looks like the best monitor at the moment:

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/asus...sync-compatible-gaming-monitor-mo-0a9-as.html

I had an original rog swift (not bright enough for me) then gave it away and swapped it for a Predator 27 4k IPS but....60hz. The TUF looks like the best of both worlds. Any alternatives? It needs to be a 27 to fit on the mounts and leave room for the Predator. £500ish budget as I really don’t game on it much (but when I do I want it to be good!)

Muchas cheers in advance!

I have been looking around at these monitors for a couple of weeks now and I can't make my mind up to be honest. There are a few around that price, all with their good and bad points.

The ASUS you refer to was going to be what I went for, but I read that it suffers some issues when running anything at less than 100hz.
LG 27GL850-B seems a popular choice but has bad contrast ratio.
Gigabyte Aorus FI27Q also seems good and I can't really remember what the downsides were.
I was interested in the Pixio but I read that it has some problems with quality control.

Why can't somebody just made the perfect monitor at a cheap price? :D:rolleyes:

I read those reviews about the pixio and quality concerns and i only have a sample size of one but mine is perfect, no dead pixels at all so i cant complain

I am on the same boat, was about the buy the Asus, as it has the best stand by a mile and it has a slim profile but if the framerate dips under 80fps it is unbearable. Apparently with the LG you can go down to about 50fps before it is an issue.

I would buy the LG but I don't want to hand over £470 for nothing. It is already hard enough justifying spending this kind of money to the wife!
