Just bought some nice big fresh tuna steaks. I also bought some red and green chillis, fresh ginger and two limes. I also was about to buy some lemongrass which had a glorious smell, but was too greedy to spend another 80p. Lovely, lovely smell though.

So, suggestions on how to use my ingredients?

I'm thinking finely chop chilli, grate ginger, squeeze lime - smother Tuna in mixture and then fry?

Any better suggestions - should I add the fresh ingredients uncooked to the Tuna once pan fried?

Marinaded, fried and served on a a bed of stir fry mange tout, baby sweetcorn, chillies and spring onion, delicious :)

quick slap on the pan each side,, keep it nice and medium, I prefer mine that way over cooked thru. Little bit of stir fry veg, still nice and crispy.

A little drizzle of yer fave sauce/dressing :)
