Tuned CTR does 0-140 in under 8 secs

It must get one hell of a boost when Vtec kicks in for it to do 0-60 in 5, then 60-140 in 3 :D

Another great find

I'll post later, I'm just lost for words at the moment.

Think you need to get the CTR "chipped" tbh - few quid and Bob's your uncle - 40 bhp more. Awesome. :D

I think the 'model' is hiding the huge bulge from the massive power resistor of justice under the bonnet.

I'm just about to put the Elise on Pistonheads. No need for it if I can just get the CTR chipped and do 60-140 in 3seconds

mclaren f1 0-100 in 7.7
chipped civic with vtect y0 0-140mph in 8 seconds
PMSL
its even quicker than a veryon
0-125mph in 7.3 seconds

I've just 'asked seller a quesion', which is as follows

Hi i'm really interested in your CTR. I'm incredibly keen to test the claimed performance. You see, it takes 5 seconds to get from 0-60, yet you state that it can do 0-140 in 8 seconds. So the sprint from 60-140 is covered in 3 seconds!? Wow, thats awesome, you'd better let Bugatti know as I think their Veyron could have some serious competition!!

Let me know if we can arrange a test drive!

Thanks

PS, model of what??

I'll let you know the response!

Yeah, if he gives a semi sensible reply, i'll ask him how much boost he's running and what size literage the intercooler is!!!

never mind the car look at the "models" trainers!

edi, look at his number plate NUM = NUMNUT

Hi there

A chip gave 40BHP, yeah maybe on a diesel or a big powered engine with turbos. But getting extra from a VTEC engine is hard work as they leave the factory in the state of high tune.

When I had my Prelude to get 40BHP you'd be talking CAI, Exhaust throughout with No Cats, Vtec controller and even then you'd probably only see 20ish BHP at best.

Civic Type R takes approx 6.5s 0-60 I think another 40BHP might reduce that to approx 5.9s at best, absolute twoddle of an advert somebody take them out in a car that really is quick and not just nippy.
