Well the landlord of the house will not put up a digital aerial, now my mums television doesn't have sky but mine and downstairs does so they are ok. So is there a tuner card that doesn't require a aerial to be plugged in?

Thanks

(I asuming by the first post that you live in the same block as your mum?)

The LNB of a sky box (if recent) will have 4 outputs, if older it will still have 2. Can you not ask sky to just use one of the ports on your dish and run that to your mum's sky box?

If she doesn't want to pay for a sky subscription she can just get a second hand box and pay (if I remember right) £10 for a viewing card to get all the free sk channels :D

Noooooo, the sky box is in my room and one downstairs xD So I need a cheapo tuner card to go in an old PC so she can watch 1, 2, 3, 4. Theres gotta be a card that connects wirelessly and downloads the eps like and puts um on a screen

Hmm, not that I am aware of.

Could you not use another cable from the dish to her tv? Then you just need a second hand sky box and some cabling.

Or get an internal aerial and mount it in the loft? Or even just get an internal desktop type aeiral?

Tried indoor aerial, I hate living on what used to be a field

Sky player.....is it now called sky Go? is the closet thing to what you are suggesting and doesnt require a tuner card.

Seeing as you are a sky customer anyway you might as well try that
