what are peoples thoughts on Tunngle, do you think its worth getting anything other than the basic?

i was depading getting the paid version as its the last day to obtain vefore it goes pay monthly.

Tunngle allows you to easily play your Local Area Network (LAN) games online over the Internet. This means that, when you run Tunngle, you can use the Local Network Menu of your games to play your favorite Multi-Player games on-line

its sort of like an alternative to Hamachi

It was recomened by : KIA

Its now out of beta, but plan to use it for a little more than playing gmaes may be some light file transfer.

Not just pirated, that is very narrow minded. Lots of games have had multiplayer shut down so this is the only way to play them online still if they have lan.

my main use for Tunngle was to set up a small minecraft server with 2 or 3 people and then not have to worry about NAT or port forwarding and all the other issues associated with conencting over the internet to a home dynamic ip address. but i can see it could have lots of other uses also.

also remember there have been a lot of game servers taken down now, like gamespy & games for windows, which a lot of older games relyed on for internet connection play games. as an example people still play games like red alert 2.

Great piece of software . Make sure your version if up to date with the latest lobby version . I used it for f1 2013 a lot ... I Have only used it to circumvent the multiplayer so to a fair degree it does assist in piracy use .

Never needed to pay for it at all
