Tunic Tower

no difference, same fan just one is fitted with Blue LED's

it should probably fit your mobo, measure your heatsinks on the VRM's and north-bridge, if they are under 5cm tall then you should be able to fit it on.

Ok Thankyou, well thats ridiculous about the price hehe and yes ill measure them *** and let you guys know, and im sorta new to comps =] whats are VRMs the heatpipes?

(paint ftw?)

the VRM's are the things surrounding your CPU socket. the heatsink on top of them should be less than 5cm in height but always check. also you look as if you've got enough space around the socket to attach the Heatsink and tighten the screws.

Hehe yeh paint is great =] I have an Antec 900, do u think ill be able to fit the heatsink inside the case, as i have a fan on the case panel?

Nope, you'll need to lose the side fan. The TT clears the side of the case by about 1cm.

Also, you'll pretty much have to fit it with the motherboard outside the case or you'll never tighten those screws.

agree'd my exact situation some weeks ago.

also its best to orientate the Tuniq tower so its blowing out the top of the case. it seems to provide the lowest temps.

with it in this orientation, it does use the side vent as a intake. as dust builds up on the side as the Tuniq Tower draws air in

Just make sure you use the included speed control to put the fan to low speed - the thing sounds like an aircraft otherwise. I changed the stock fan in mine for a Sharkoon and it's made a world of difference.

taking the motherboard out isnt that much hassle. only thing you remove is any add-on cards that you have and of course motherboard.

here is a pick of my rig with my Tuniq Tower in so the fan blows it straight out the roof of the case

Im thinking of getting one of these cpu coolers for my Q6600 myself.

Using an Antec 900 case with an Abit AB9 Quad GT motherboard... anyone know if it will all fit ok?

Also how does it compare with the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 pro and the Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme ?

I want something really decent for under £50.
