looking around google for tuning options for my car and it seems to be another s2000 scenario, zero tuning options available unless you want to spend £8k for 20hp

is there a bolt on CAI and sports pipe setup? I'm damned if I can find one

housemaster you are the master of beefed up vw golfs, any tips as to whos hot and whos not in the UK?

There is a place in Aylesbury thats called DS Motors (formerly G Force) which used to tune Porsches for racing (also scoobies). They are now a Japanese car specialist but still retain the Porsche specialist part and are an offical Porsche servicing garage.

There is a place called QRS Sport near me which often have Porsches, Audi's and VW's. Had a quick look on their website and they do list a few goodies for the Porsches but it's probably best to ring them.

Sorry, I missed this thread.

Getting more power from the C2S engine is not a work of moments or something you are likely to do cheaply. As it has no turbo and is in a pretty good state of tune already, getting more power can be expensive. My advice would be speak to one of the well known Porsche specialists about the options and the 3 I know of who have solid reputations, 2 of which I have used myself are:

You could also try ninemeister, though I have heard varying reports about them, and not all positive. There are others out there too, and my mate just had his 996 GT3 RS remapped and the results have been impressive, but then that is a very different lump to the C2S. He went from 385bhp to 419bhp, and that was run on the same RR which was not owned by the person who did the mapping.

Exhausts are a good place to start as they can release a bit of bhp together with a solid map, but in real terms you will have to spend big to get any big improvements. Time for a Turbo perhaps....
