tuniq 120 install

Whichever way it fits on the Mobo imo . . . Mine is pointing up (Fan blowing to the rear). Just make sure the fan is blowing toward the back, or wherever the exhaust is in the case. You can turn the fan round in its holder by unscrewing it.

in my case the fan is blowing air to the back of the case
( where is a 120 mm fan)

TT 120 fan "blows" air and antec 120mm tri-cool fan "sucks" air :)
great combination :)

thanks for the pic and help guys. I actually just stuck it in this machine to be on the safe side (nearly chopped my fingers off while i was at it). I forgot about the bit underneath the motherboard so had to take it out again. Then i found out how hard it is to screw the heatsink on with the motherboard back in so had to take it out again! man i suck. its done anyway at last although wouldnt be surprised if ive destroyed the motherboard by now.
 
yes this is great cooler but means a lot of work too

hope you have not killed the board :)
when i was " noob" I killed my share of hardware :p
 
yes ,it´s a " pc noise absorver kit" from BeQuiet

the Antec Solo is a very quiet case allready( it has some great features in noise reducing)
but I´m a beat paranoic about silence ( anyway I stay near the pc for long hours )

so I use this stuff all around the case( lateral,bottom,top,underneath of the board,etc)

the result is great,pc case is underneath of my desk,and with fans at minimum,i just listen a very weak sound like of the air entering the grills in front of the Solo :)

and the temp´s are great - in a manner some people couldn´t belive it!
