Hi,

I'm keen to order a new PC to enjoy all these new FPS style games that have just come out. I've read that the Tuniq Tower 120 is a superb cooler and I like the sound of it. However I've also read that its huge and hence space can be a problem, despite Tuniq's website claiming broad compatibility.

I'm hoping that in this thread you will list success stories using the Tuniq Tower 120. I'm particularly keen to know which motherboard and case you used.

I'm personally thinking of ordering a Gigabyte P35 based motherboard, perhaps a GA-P35-DS3L. As for case I wouldn't really want to spend more than £60 on it. Perhaps I'd buy an Antec Nine Hundred, or an Antec Sonata III Piano Black Quiet Case - EarthWatts 500W PSU, since it includes a PSU.

I'll be looking to buy a E6750 at the moment and changing to a Q9450 later when Penryn is established. I'd expect to get the E6750 up to 3.0Ghz at least, perhaps 3.4Ghz. So I'll want the PSU and motherboard to be able to do that without difficulty. I'm looking for a balance between cost and overclocking. I don't want/need the hassle of serious overclocking, but fairly simple air cooled overclocking would be welcome.

So please let me know if you've successfully installed a Tuniq Tower 120 in your system, preferably if it's a system similar to my current plan. Any other comments welcome as well.

Cheers,
Mark

Got mine on an Abit IP35 Pro mobo in an Antec P182 case (c/w E6850 and BFG 8800GTX). Fits very nicely although i have binned the supplied fan for a PWM type.
