Tuniq Tower 120. Change it or new fan?

As title suggests. The Tuniq has droped a bit and is now resting on the side fan door on the case.

So, since it needed sorting. Do i up grade to new cooler? Maybe Silver Arrow, or maybe 1 of the water coolers? H20 or H70/80/100?

Or get a big CFM fan and new TIM for the Tuniq?

Then to overclock CPU more. When needed, as it plays games fine on 3840 x 1024 at the moment.

Any advise would be helpfully.

For your setup as per your sig I would stick with what you have. Give it a good clean, some new TIM and a decent reseat.

The stock fan is best for the tuniq tower and the tuniq tower is still a solid cooler it's good enough to run a Q6600 @ 3.5ghz 1.4 volts so.

Any advice on how to screw the tower down to get a good even pressure sit?

Whould it be going from 1st screw in a diagonal to the 2nd screw, then keep working roaund till all are hand tight?

And is IC best TIM?.

You've got the right idea. Not sure what IC is as I still use Ceramique, but there are so many good TIM around these days. Just use what you have.
