Hi,
This morning my Abit IP35 Pro mobo and my tuniq tower 120 fan have been delivered. I bought the bundle here
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-101-OK

When installing the Tuniq heatsink and fan I note it's power connector is 3pin. The dedicated cpu header on the mobo is 4 pin. My questions then are:
1. Can I safely plug the fans 3 pin power connector into the mobo's auxiliary fan header number 1 which is 3pin for it to work safely or?
2. Do I need to buy a fan 3pin to 4pin power adaptor/convertor.

A quick reply would be very much appreciated as I'm building it now.
Thanks

1. Yes

2. No you dont need to buy a converter. I believe the extra connector is there to allow the fan speed to be changed with temp/voltage etc as set in the BIOS.
