Need some suggestions for an alternative cooler as the TT is out of stock with no ETA :(

It'll be going on an ASUS P5K-E wifi in an Antec 900 case. I don't really want to spend any more than £30-35 on it (including fan).

Looking for some info on DIY fan filters too if anyone knows what materials work well :)

I use a deep fat fryer filter cut to size which slots in nicely to the front of my Antec 900 case and covers all the metal mesh area. Very easy to clean and doesn't seem to impede airflow as my temps are the same. The inside of the case has remained quite clean after a month compared with how it was before I used the filter. I bought the filter in a market for £5 however I believe Currys etc sell them as well. I also use the Tuniq Tower with LED to cool my CPU, a QX9650 @ 3.85Ghz. The thing I liked about the LED was that at least it showed that the fan is getting power as it's hard to see the fan rotating because of the design of the TT.

I keep the filter on the outside of the metal mesh effect drive bay covers so I just take it off from time to time and vacuum it. The filter is black and looks OK. The suction from the fans actually hold it in place, and when the PC is switched off, I can remove the filter to maintain the PC's original look. I considered cutting the filter up and putting a strip behind each drive bay cover however that would mean taking the case apart every month to clean the filters. I looked at nearly every possibilty for keeping the dust out of this case and even bought mesh 120mm fan filters however they wont fit without modding the case and would still require taking the case apart to clean them. The solution I use seems to work, looks OK, is cheap and easy to clean or replace.
