I started putting my new build together last night and had a bit of a mare when it came to fitting the tuniq tower cooler. I may just be being dim, but it wasn't exactly obvious which way round on the processer it's supposed to sit, so I set it so fan was blowing towards the rear of the case.
The instructions were rubbish. Tiny blurred photos on a pamphlet that looked like it'd been knocked up on an office photocopier. Considering that if you muck it up you'll melt your chip, I was a bit perturbed to say the least.

I had a similar moment when i came to fit it and couldn't work out which way round to fit it, couldn't see any marking on the fan indicating airflow.

Luckily I had CPC mag to hand which has a piccy of my mobo and this cooler in the current issue.

Agree about the instructions, pictures are too small (mind you, in colour though).

Nice heatsink, pleased with it so far.

Should be something like this:-

Without the messy cables, :D air flowing from front to back.

Yeah...it is a bugger...

The only thing actually telling you which direction the fan is going to be blowing...Is the damn fan itself :P

And to find that out you need to unscrew the fan from the bracket. Which is a bit annoying. But hey.

That is the wrong way round the fins should be downward
that guy has his fan blowing toward the dvd bay.
As default the fins downward is left as we look at it direction.
So unless the guys taken the fan out and turned it around
it's blowing into the case.

That's the way I've done it too Melbourne. I hate fitting coolers. On my last build I thought I was going to snap the motherboard before the fixing arm went back, and this one I've just tightened the screws down against the springs as hard as they will go. There's no way to see if I've tightened too much.
