It would seem that the fan inside my tuniq tower 120 is dying on me. I am gussing that even if it does go kaput, its not gonna drastically change the heat around my cpu too much?

you would be surprised. but i may be wrong.
I know its a different cooler, but i removed the fans off my D14 and my pc shut down when it got too hot, it went from mid 50's.C while gaming, to over 80.C

just stick another 120mm fan in there

a guide for whats it worth, about replacing the fan

I know what you mean, its just a ballache to take it all out and replace the fan. Guess am just being lazy, and can't be bothered :D

I have one on my kids pc, its only 4 screws to slide the fan out ;)
disconnect the fan from the header, and see if the temps are high, if not, then you know you dont need to replace it.

If you know it is dying then it is probably worthwhile sorting out a replacement before it does go, at least that is what I would do.

If it does go then I wouldn't want to have the PC on for any length of time, even with good airflow.

As the previous poster linked to, changing the fan in a Tuniq can be done in situ, unscrew the 4 screws at the top and the fan slides out in the surround which it can then be removed from.

I have a feeling that is the first thing I did when I bought my Tuniq, replaced the fan for a Yate Loon jobby

This^. You dont have to disconnect it all as it has 4 screws on top and you can just slide out the fan and connect a new one. Just remember to unplug the fan header and the Fan controller for it.
