Tuniq Tower removal

What's the best way to get the back plate of the tower off the mobo? Is it just a case of brute force, or is there a certain place it's safe to lever the damn thing!?!

My mobo is being RMA'd and i don't want to damage it any further and void my warranty. :rolleyes:

Try warming it up with a hair dryer.

lol, no problem. Just warm up the sticky pad part of the plate and rotate it to break the seal.

Okay, so i finally removed the plate, but....... It left the rubber insulating strip behind!?! Do you think this will be a problem with regards to RMAing this board? I don't want to go mad trying to get it off, and end up voiding my warranty.

You could try using a bit of isopropyl alcohol or nail varnish remover on it to see if it dissolves the sticky stuff/glue holding it on. But I think you should be ok sending it in as it is.
