Tuniq Tower Temps with Fan turned down

Hey guys, my temps are a little high, but not ridiculous atm. idle ~40-45, ~70-75 on prime with my q6600 G0 @3.2. This is with my fan turned down to about 1000RPM so you can't hear it. When playing games, temps are usually ~50-55, which is the main use my machine gets.

When people are quoting lower temps, is this usually with more air, I want my PC to be quiet so don't mind running a little hotter as long as it's safe.

I've already reseated my HS, but don't want to do it again if these temps are normal with that fan speed.

Yep the Tuniq performs much better with a lot of airflow but ~75c prime isn't too bad so should be perfectly fine to leave it running silently.

My Tuniq Tower is set at 1200rpm which is about the highest silent speed.
My Q6600 idles at 24c-30c.
This is with MX-2 compound and 1.275v @ 3Ghz.

MX2 is about the best around atm... gives me 3-4 deg improvement over AS5...

Running a Q6600 @ more than 72deg for prolonged periods will damage it tho, not a great idea mate... I would try and keep it below 70 if you can
