Tuniq tower

Another hijack - will this be OK on a DS3 in a PC7-Plus? I'm looking to buy a Tuniq tomorrow (payday).

Also I'll have to get the paste off the CPU from the AC7... am I best removing the CPU and sticking the protective cover on while I do this (seems silly to do it in situ on the mobo IMO). I guess cotton buds and the ArctiClean Removal kit is best for this.

Is the stock paste on the Tuniq worth replacing with AS5? I've seen several posts saying there's naff all difference.

Also what mode are people using for fan control on the Tuniq?

The Tuniq goes great guns with my DS-3, so You won't have any issues there. Not sure about ure case though....Check the dimentions to make sure. I bought some AC7 as well, and to be honest I have no idea what difference (if any) it has made as I have not tried the stuff that comes with the heatsink itself. It will only really make 2-3 degrees difference I think....but every little helps

Fan control - I currently have mine on Max as I cant hear it through my case.....so why not?! It is certainly a lot louder though...the dial is a great idea
