Got my tuniq tower today from ocuk this is a sign from the gods that conroe prices will drop soon i think.
Wasnt too impressed the fan controller was bent up like beckam big curve
in it i bent it back hope it hasnt weakened the metal also the heatsink itself looks used dirty with muck and marks on it with bent mishapen fins.Looks like a b grade to me wont be sending it back though its all mine now.:P
as long as it does the job i dont care if its secondhand.Rant over.

I'd replace the fan in there with a Nexus/Yate Loon/Scythe/Noctua fan, and run it at full wack off a molex or the motherboard. That way (a) your temps will be lower and (b) you won't have to worry about that bent fan controller!

True but i like that fan controller fits perfect in the
eclipse front pci slot.I'm used to noise anyway have used deltas as case fans
for years 80mm ones though.

Sound: 18.0 dB(A) <akasa amber
Air flow: 44.8 CFM
lower db and pushes more air than the nexus have you tried many fans on it?
and found the nexus to be the best?
Lol at fan controller offerage thanks but mines ok i'm sure it'll end up unused
in box somewhere anyway.Yea ok meet you halfway say blackshaw road lol.

LOL I love some of those companies dBa and cfm ratings - "100 cfm and <5dBa" when an acoustic studio is about 15dBa!

I have used: Nexus, Zalman, Coolermaster, Akasa Ambers and Xilence and the best so far are the Nexus ones. I have some Yate Loons on order (made by the same company as Nexus) so I'll try them out too.

I have heard good things about the Scythe ones, and the Noctua fans too. Haven't tried them though.
