Turbo and eco

I have an Msi GX660r laptop with i5-460m cpu and ati 5870.
It has soft keys along the top of the key board, most work but the 'turbo' and the 'eco' ones have stopped. Any ideas why? is it a driver issue?

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Most likely a driver problem. Stick the CD in there that came with the laptop and it should fix it!

Otherwise, my turbo (IIRC) didn't work when the machine wasn't plugged in, could it be that? That was the same model as yours too.
