Hey guys,
Just looking for advice please so i the other week i overclocked my i5 sandy bridge 2500k from 3.30 Ghz to 4.20 Ghz, all i did was go into the Bios and change the cpu multiplyer from x33 to x42 and nothing else.
I ran prime95 for a few hours and every thing is fine.
Just want to ask two questions please
1. Is just changing the multiplyer enough for sandy bridge ? do i have to do anything else?, i don't want to damage my cpu in the long run.
2. I was told by a friend to turn off the Turbo Boost in the Bios when you overclock is that true ? if so why ?
Thanks for your help guys o yeah i have......
