So lets begin by saying, I have very little knowledge of turbo boost, and haven't previously had an intel processor overclocked.
I recently bought an overclocked bundle with an i5 3570K at 4.40GHz
The system shows the CPU as being capable of 4.40GHz:
But when actually running applications (Prime95 included) it doesn't appear to run at that speed according to CPU-Z.
I installed Intel's own Turbo Boost Monitor and CPU Identification Utility, and they show everything as being fine however....
I assume CPU-Z is the more reliable reading, since Intel may just be showing what speed it should be running at?
Which program is telling the truth?
