Hi guys,

Just a quick question about this, im getting ever so slight stutters while gaming n so I looked online and one of the suggestions is to disable boost. Now my cpu is ocd to 5ghz its a 9900k with a maximus hero xi board. I went into the bios and disabled turbo mode, could not find a boost option but I imagine there the same. Anyway once I did it disabled my oc? I was under the impression it ocs on the go so I dont understand this. Can anyone tell me is it possible to disable and still have a oc?

Anyone able to help, ive tryed disabling the avx, n resetting everything back to default bar the oc n the xmp on the memory but it still disables the oc
 
Can no one help?? Im not that clued up with this as you guys, was hoping someone could lend me a helping hand. Thankyou guys
