Turbo trainer or Brisk walking?

For general health, fitness and weight loss which is better. 30 mins on turbo trainer 12 miles, cadence 90 or a 60 min brisk walk at 4.5 mph?
 
Don't choose, do both.

Hard to tell what you turbo session is like without knowing the power (better still, % of FTP)., or at least the resistance. 30 minutes cycling at 80% FTP would be a solid work out, at 50% FTP it would be easy.
 
Thanks, up until yesterday I was using a dumb trainer but have just purchased a Tacx Flow smart trainer and using it in conjunction with zwift. I guess what I was asking in a roundabout way is should I continue with the walking or should I do more Trainer sessions?

I used to run but even after several running shoe fittings I just end up with constant backache so I started walking really fast instead. I do build up a sweat doing this but not like Turbo Training where I drip!

My aim is to lose a couple of stone and be able to keep up with my local cycle club by this summer, I've cut rubbish out and eating sensible.
