Hello guys.

I have an Acer Aspire 6935G Laptop and I had a few issues with it. When I bought it, it came with Vista Home and I didn't want that OS on, so I upgraded to Vista Ultimate 32 Bit.

However, when I first tried upgrading it to Vista Ultimate, it just kept blue screening till I went in the bios and changed it from AHCI to IDE.

When I changed it to IDE, it installed fine.

Now I want to put my TurboMemory drivers on, and because I'm still on IDE mode it says my computer isn't compatable with it. To make it install, I need to change the mode from IDE to AHCI in the bios. However, when I do this, and boot up the computer, just before the Vista loading bar it will blue screen.

I've just tried installing the AHCI drivers and they also say my computer isn't compatable... It must be doing this because my mode is still set on IDE.

Could anyone help me fix this problem please?

Many thanks.
