Hey folks, we had a new patio laid last week (existing one was just concrete and half the size of this one), and there is a bit of a gap between where it ends and where the grass is, the gap is about 1/3rd of the slab size which were 600mm slabs, so perhaps about 250mm gap or a little more, and the width of the garden is about 6.5m.
Anyhow, I was thinking there are a couple of options, we did think about stones/pebbles, but seeings as we will be placing these on the edges of the patio elsewhere etc it would be a bit O.T.T.
Option 1) Put some top soil in with existing soil, then use grass seed and just spread it all over that area (including that brown bit which was were I had left the garden table over winter!) and then just water regularly and hope it all 'blends in' - maybe then seeding over the gaps between turf and existing grass and trying to create a better 'blend'
Option 2) Buy a couple of rolls of turf, put top soil on existing soil, cut turf it into small pieces and lay it, and then hope it blends in.

I think option 2 may be better initially, but a longer process (in terms of waiting for it to root to be able to walk on) whereas option 1 may take a bit longer to start, but better afterwards.
Any ideas are welcome
