Turion 64 1.58GHz. Bus?

What is the bus speed on this processor? I've been looking around and I can't get a straigt answer... a friend wants to upgrade their laptop memory and I'm "meant" to find them the cheapest memory upgrade for it. (It has this processor, two memory slots used totaling 512MB RAM...)
I've read that it supports up to PC3200... but somehow that seems a bit slow... thought AMD were into DDR2, etc. Anyway, if it is then even cheaper for her.

It will be PC3200, new AM2 chips are on DDR2 but the "old" Turions are just DDR.

If its S754 turion (check with CPU-Z) then its probably using PC2700, most maufacturers were shipping with PC2700 for some reason, not sure if the chipsets were limiting them to using slow PC2700 or they were cost cutting.

Yeah the 1.8Ghz Asus AMD Athlon Turion64 MT32 in the This Week Only offers runs on PC2700.
