Just a bit of a probing tread, to see if anyone has any expiriences with OCing a turion in a desktop board.

reason being i've gotta few bit winging there way to me at the moment including a Turion ML-30, an Asrock K8SLI-esata2 & a XFX 7600GT XXX

Can't really find out too much info on the whole subject, apart from the fact that the Turion "should" work in the board i just bought, so i'm taking a bit of a gamble!

Any info/tips would be greatfully appriciated, plus i'll keep you all updated once all the boxes arrive :)

Cheers, seems as thought this Turion64 on desktop boards is a bit pioneering :)

It's gonna be good fun :D

In for a penny, in for a pound... i tought

Turion64 in a ULI M1697 chipset SLI mobo! Its no fun if its easy :)

I got my ML-30 upto 2.12GHz ok, starts to go a bit flakey then!

but i havnt really tweeked it too much, as i'm chomping at the bit to get the water cooling gear in :)

it's sitting here on my desk at work, i need to go home.... :D

Machine is in bit at the mo as i'm in the process of fitting a new PSU & water cooling kit :D

Once it's back up and running ill post some info.

I can run at 2GHz (250 x 8) at 1.2v stable, nice and cool

the ML-30 has the 1MB cache, but the ML-32 have 512KB and 200MHz extra clock. I missed out on a MT-37 on ebay the other day

Funilly enough i've got a Sempron Mobile 2600+ sitting on my desk at home, only cost me £15 :)
