Turkey GP in 2013?

Please please can we have it back and hopefully not just for next season.

Bernie Ecclestone says he will try to resurrect the Turkish GP when he heads to Istanbul this weekend for the FIA Awards dinner and a meeting of the World Motorsport Council.

With the planned race on the streets of New Jersey postponed until 2014, the 2013 calendar was published with just 19 races.

The F1 supremo previously stated that he would try to find a replacement race in France, but funding was not forthcoming for a GP at Magny-Cours or Paul Ricard.

Although I quite like the A1 Ring for some reason, it's just wrong to have it on the calendar with it being RBs own track.

Honda ran/own Suzuka and Toyota Fuji Speedway when they used to race there? Or do you mean the fact its in the name?

If they tested there, like Ferrari with their own track a few years ago, then I see your point, but would rather have a GP there then losing one. Prefer Turkey though of course

Yeah no mid-season test in 2013 to keep costs down.
