So this year i'm cooking my first xmas dinner and i'm looking to source a freerange slowly matured turkey for 6 people. budget is around £50 including delivery. Can anyone recommend a place online? Or shall i just order one with M&S? ta

Same. Always get mine locally. Can order way in advance and I even get streaky bacon and that as well. You can often wangle a deal as well for a few things. Or maybe it's just my blagging.

Last year, for the first time we ordered a fresh Turkey from Source Food Hall in Bristol. It was 4kg, free range, and tasted beautiful. So much nicer than the frozen ones from the supermarket. We're getting another one this year

All my Xmas meat/poultry comes from a local butcher, all organic and sourced from local farms.

You can taste the difference, well worth the extra.
