I have just sold the contents of this case on MM. I have a Fractal Define Case which i want to free up to get it repainted (another thread when this happens) so i wanted case to move the bits into without having to buy one. If you look at the inside of the kolink it has a vast amount of unused space with vertical slots that have no apperent use (maybe for water cooling reseviors). I thought could i mount Hard drives similar to the Phanteks P400. My 3D skills are limited to AutoCAD so its not great but should do the job. Ive set the below printing now to see how it turns out. and got some nuts and bolts coming in post.

dont have any white at the moment so im having to use Grey. I will update later if the print is successful and lines up in the case

Finished test print, looks ok and the hard drive fits, will hold up against case but waiting for some fixings to arrive

You are supposed to mount 3x2.5" drives there according to the manual (as well as 2x2.5" drives behind the motherboard tray, and 3x3.5" drives in the lower bays)

Be interesting to see how your project turns out however

ah yes your are correct, there was nothing manual wise in the box when i bought it, and i dont think Kolink had a site at the time. i got it on offer for about £35. 3.5". I need the lower bays to hide all the cables :D

So slight problem which i thought would be the case, i put the bottom 2 holes to close to the base, so using PSU screws as a test i can only fit 2 in , so i wil just delete the others and move the other 2 to the centre. I will still use the test one. As it takes nearly 5 hours to print

How will you get at the screws with more than 1 mount in place?
(As you won't be able to unscrew the mount with a drive in place, and you also won't be able to get underneath each bay to screw/unscrew hard drives)

should be ok, i have some a really short stubby screw driver, will also try with the mounting the nut on the inside.. i will wait for screws arrive before i print any more mounts

could also be possible to simply use it upside down and sit the drive on top, loses a bit of space in the case thought

small update, all brackets printed, although its been adjusted a few time. I still used the first print as i could get to the screw positions the other were all reversed. Im just wating for a SATA power splitter so i dont have to use multiples of extensions and splitters
