Turn my computer on... On for 1sec, off for 2sec, then fully on?

Ever since I built my latest machine, I've always thought the power on process was a bit odd.

Press the on button...
PC comes on for about 1 second...
then turns off for about 2 seconds...
the comes on and boots up fully....

Why?

It's completely normal.

It does this to do some checks before loading back into the BIOS and into windows. Really useful when you are overclocking, as it will revert back to default if it doesnt post, without you having to do anything.

I suspected it was normal... Thanks for letting me know what it's upto!
