So every time I reboot the machine I have a new notification:

"Turn on Windows firewall"

I don't want to, I'm not going to - but how do I stop the contant notifications?
I've only found one location where you can tell it "not to notify you" - that is already checked (as it was under 8.1) yet the notifications still keep on popping up.
Any ideas?

Just had a little look round web land and found this bit of info.

Sorry I can not test this. I have no Win 10 installed.

Go to the Control Panel, view all control panel items, and change to an icon view (not category).
Look for and open: Security and Maintenance
You'll see the good ol' notification screen from Win8 and 7. Just click Do not notify me under the firewall setting and it goes away!

I just installed Win 10 onto my "play thing" and tested this out.

Yep works !

I turned off the firewall.
Disabled the notifications.
Rebooted and the firewall stayed off and no notifications.
