Turn projector on via Amazon Alexa?

Is it possible to send IR codes or something via Alexa? To turn my projector, Nvidia sheild TV on etc

I believe Alexa can work with the Harmony Hub which equipment via IR, Bluetooth and IP

Yes. As per vila's post, you need a Logitech Harmony Hub and it works fine
