Follows New York farmer, Abe Woodhull, who bands together with a group of childhood friends to form The Culper Ring, an unlikely group of spies who turn the tide in America's fight for independence.
That's what the colonials say, I say it's more about a group of childhood friends who, after a slight to do with a few blokes in natty redcoats, decide to become terrorists, traitors and subversives in order to overthrow their legitimate government, i.e. the Crown.

If you overlook the obvious demonisation of the glorious British Empire it's not too bad, I'll give it another episode or two.

So typical American cinematography then.... the amount of times I've seen 'American' movies replacing 'British' achievements so the Americans saved the world, did this that or something is daft....
