turned new build on 1st time-display prob?

Hello could some1 please help,

just turned my new build on for the 1st time, at 1st all i got was not video input

So i removed the graffix card and it displays fine through the vga but goes back to no video input if i put the graffix card in or try using the hdmi/dvi on the mobo.

All i have done so far is boot up into bios and install windows 7 64bit.

parts are as follow:

amd phenomII x955
Asus M4A785TD-V Evo AMD 785
G.Skill Ripjaw 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual
Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
blue ray drive
samsung f3 hard drive

Any help would be great as i dont want start jumping in feet 1st.

Yep using the VGA on the mobo but the hdmi and dvi wont display anything.

Will re check the conections, do i need the disable the onboard graffix in order for the graffix card to work?

I not attempted to install the drivers yet so could that be playing a part in my problem?
