Looking to buy one of the OCuk 24" monitors early Jan and will be relegating my old 19" WS TFT to TV duties (so i can ditch my 15" TV), the basic plan is to have the monitors running in dual screen mode so that i can use the 24" for a majority of things and the 19" for browsing forums or watching TV etc, what would be the best route to take to accomplish this.

Would i need to get a TV card for my PC (bare in mind I only have a portable antenna) or would an external TV/Monitor box thingy be better suited to the task.

Hmm...does it have Composite in? Freeview box with sound channel output to pc line in via converter would work.

Otherwise:

Freeview box > scart <> vga converter (these do exist) this has 2 composite jacks, vga to monitor, jacks to converter into pc line in.

:)

My 19" TFT only has VGA.

Essentially what I want to go for is.

24" TFT as primary monitor, 19" TFT for Extended Desktop.

Ability to watch TV on the 19" either as PIP (picture in picture) or on its own (with and without the PC on).
