Turning off visual notification in Win 7?

Hi,

I have this really annoying window pop up when playing bf3 saying my system is running slow and do I want to change my display to bog standard instead of aero. Now I have just upgraded to 12gb of memory and only half of that is being used and the cpu isn't being taxed. I also have a 6970 so that shouldn't be the problem.

How do I turn off this window notification because it minimises bf3 and its driving me nuts!!!

It's more to do with VRAM usage than system memory. Use something like MSI Afterburner to monitor it, it is probably getting close to the 2GB limit of your card which is why you are being prompted to switch aero off.

Well it is suing around 1 gig of GPU ram when in bf3 with aero on.
